Nucleons
The Nucleus contains two types of subatomic particles, positively charged protons, and neutrons which are electrically neutral. Protons are slightly smaller, and have a slightly lower mass than neutrons, but these values are much greater than for electrons. A Nuclide is a particular atomic nucleus (the electrons are not considered)
